The year does an absolutely super job of cramming in days, weeks and months that are dedicated to raising awareness on really important matters. Last month created a platform for the likes of brain tumour awareness and eating disorder awareness. These illnesses and situations are part of many people’s realities and awareness events such as these help to shed light on the facts, misunderstandings and possibly stigmas that surround these topics.
This month, along with many other important awareness events, we have Allergy Awareness Week - something we feel very strongly about here at The Gluten Free Kitchen, as everything we make is to help those with food intolerances and allergies.
Around 2,000,000 people in the UK alone have a diagnosed food allergy, with an estimated 600,000 of them suffering from celiac disease.
We originally created The Gluten Free Kitchen with the sole purpose of making gluten free products, in an attempt to make the lives of people suffering with variations of Gluten intolerances better. However, we soon thought ‘why stop there?’, which is why we now serve many more people with many other food allergies and sensitivities. Our kitchen provided for those with:
- Gluten Allergies
- Soya Allergies
- Egg Allergies
- Dairy Allergies
Here are just some of our products that cater for ALL of these food allergies:
