How do you like your brew?

A good brew can do wonderful things; it can lift our spirits when we’re feeling down, it can bring people together when the pull of life separates us, it can even be an olive branch when we regret the things we say in the heat of the moment. Today's blog talks about a great cause and the kinds of delicious Gluten Free treats that are the perfect match for a perfect brew.

Tea or Coffee?

Black or white?

Sugar or No sugar?

We all have our preferences when it comes to a well deserved brew and there’s nothing like a bad one to turn your day upside down. However, a good brew can do wonderful things; it can lift our spirits when we’re feeling down, it can bring people together when the pull of life separates us, it can even be an olive branch when we regret the things we say in the heat of the moment. Yes, there’s lots of lovely things a brew can do and one of the most amazing of all is raising money for worthy causes.

From May 1st to May 8th, Time For A Cuppa is aiming to raise more awareness of Dementia in the UK through bringing people together with the help from cuppas, cakes and donations that can be spared.

Now that we can socialise outdoors with up to 6 of our friends and family, what a lovely way to spend our time. Fill up a flask and bring along your go-to brew break treat, whatever that may be.

This got us thinking about what our favourite brew break treats are and so we thought we’d share a few with you!

Classic Gluten Free Fruit Scone

What’s an afternoon tea without one? I don’t think this one needs any further justification.

Best Gluten Free Bakewell Tart

Jammy, almondy goodness cased in a deliciously buttery pastry. Any brew would be lucky to be paired with one of these!

Warming Gluten Free Lemon and Ginger Muffin

A dark horse in the running, it’s not always our first thought at brew time but the tang of the lemon and spice of the ginger is just what the doctor ordered every once in a while.

Gluten Free Victoria Sponge (Literally the queen of cake)

If it’s good enough for royalty, it’s good enough for us! Another speaks-for-itself delight.
