Autumn is now in full swing but winter is nearly on our doorstep! We may have had an unseasonably warm October but we are now definitely ready for cosy nights in with hearty food to enjoy with friends and family, out of the bitter winter wind. This month's menu is packed full of flavour with rich fillings and a dessert perfect for a sweet tooth. As always it’s all gluten-free and tastes delicious!
Gluten Free, Dairy Free
It may not be the most conventional starter but we love a thin slice of gluten-free pork pie paired with some soft cheese to start off this jam-packed November menu. Filled with hand-raised and free-range pork shoulder, smoked bacon and pork sausage meat along with fresh herbs and spices all wrapped up in a beautifully crafted hot water shortcrust pastry - just remember to leave some room for pudding!
Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free, Soya Free
Next up for mains, we have our limited edition mixed game suet pudding. Made with British Game Associated assured venison, pheasant, partridge, pigeon and rabbit, slow-cooked in red wine, red currant jelly and autumn herbs, encased in a freshly made rosemary suet pastry. It’s so good it won a gold award at the 2020 British Pie Awards! Pair it perfectly with a fresh selection of winter veg. Now, this really is a treat in pie form!
Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Soya Free
We know this has been quite the menu so far but we can’t resist topping it off with an old classic! Our sticky toffee pudding is made with irresistible butterscotch sauce and is perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They are great to share but, even after a Suet pudding, there may be room to finish it yourself!
