Winter is here and so too is the season of festivities! We’ve packed this month's menu with some delightful, limited edition, Christmas sweet and savoury treats. So if you are looking for a quiet night in this December or are having some guests over for a gift exchange, our menu only requires a small amount of prep and some time in the oven, yet it is full of flavour and sure to impress!
Using our fantastic savoury ready to roll pastry, you can make this delicious, cheesy, asparagus tart in no time! Perfect as a light starter for your guests, this recipe uses mustard, sour cream, gruyere and fresh asparagus and with our pastry, and it can be whipped up in as little as 30 minutes! Pair with a bit of rocket or if you are looking for something a bit more seasonal try making a kale salad.

A perfect pie for this time of year, full of slow-cooked venison, field mushrooms and smoked bacon in a scrumptious red wine sauce wrapped up in freshly made rosemary suet pastry. It was also a winner of the silver award at the 2020 British Pie Awards! Pair with some in-season veg - try some honey balsamic roasted brussel sprouts for something a little different.

It wouldn't be Christmas time without some fruit cake! Our delicious, moist fruit cake is full of glace cherries, sultanas, raisins and currants and is bursting with flavour. A slice of this irresistible cake pairs perfectly with some Wensleydale Cheese or a little fresh apple. It’s sure to convert anyone into a fruit cake lover!
