  • Director

    Sue Fleming

    Having started all those years ago doing all the baking herself Sue now spends most of her time in the office and organising so all the departments work in harmony.  She can often be found helping out in the kitchen where she is still the happiest. 

    Sue started as a one-man band, creating the recipes and baking from scratch in our original premises. As the business has developed and moved into its 4th location, her role has become more managerial and therefore office based. 

    She has trained all the staff and can still get involved in production when necessary).When not at work Sue can be found in the hills of Wensleydale and Bishopdale with her Springer Spaniel walking. Or else growing flowers for her pots and hanging baskets around her home.

    Dave Fleming

    Dave is our retired gent who does some office work when necessary, and all the delivering into our local stockists around North Yorkshire. Dave can often be seen in our freezer van out and about so why not give him a wave if you spot him. Being a business partner Dave has been around since the very beginning in 2004.

    When not at work Dave enjoys playing golf and watching his beloved Newcastle United playing football. He also enjoys watching any sports available and wishes he could still play!

  • Kitchen Organiser

    Nicky Wiggins

    Nicky started with TGFK in September 2020 and works 4 day per week. 

    Nicky is happy to get stuck in and helps to organise everyone to ensure a happy and efficient kitchen.

    Away from work, work Nicky is an avid reader. She enjoys music and walking her pet dog, Dexter.

  • Ruth Wake

    Ruth Wake

    Ruth started work at TGFK in September 2020 and works part-time, 2 days per week. A great member of the team who joins us midweek for two days. Ruth is very adaptable and is capable of handling whatever task is required of her.

    When not at work Ruth is mad on Northern Soul music, regularly attending lots of concerts and events. She also enjoys reading and walking with her husband, and, very often accompanied by her sons two Springer Spaniels.

    Angela Peacock

    Angela started work with us in November 2022 and works 2 days a week. A great member of the team who joins Tuesdays and Thursdays. Angela has ‘fitted in’ very quickly and is very popular with her working colleagues. A Yorkshire lass who basically just gets on with it. Having had her own catering business Angela understands all aspects of what we do, and to a very high standard. 

    When not at work Angela enjoys spending time with her family, often having long walks in the countryside, as well as her passion for baking.

    Becky Burns

    Becky joined the TGFK team during the Spring of 2025 on a full-time basis. Becky is a local lass who has a  background in catering and hygiene so is another great asset. 

    Outside of work Becky has a young family and two dogs (Luna - Irish Wolf Hound & Molly -Beagle)

  • Jo Harrington

    Kitchen Operative

    Jo Harrington

    Jo started working at SFFK in March 2024. She is full time and took to it like a duck to water. Very capable worker who enjoys getting stuck into a challenge. She keeps the kitchen spick and span on the Friday deep clean! She was previously manager of the tea room at Serendipity for 15 years.

    When not at work she enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles, gardening, watching Snooker, is a huge moto racing fan and frequents the TT in the Isle of Man.
