I just wanted to send you all a massive thanks! I’ve only really spotted your sweet bits for sale in Waitrose and on Ocado, and FINALLY!!! I managed to get my hands on some Egg Custards with my Ocado Delivery - WOW!

They immediately took me back to great times with my Grandad like 25+ Years ago when I could eat 'normally’, and he used to spoil me and my brother every weekend and walk us to the bakery to choose what we wanted - it was always one of these or a Custard slice for me! Thanks for making such an epic product (I love the Bakewell’s too) And now I’ve found your online presence I’m sure I’ll be stocking up once I run down again in the near future! I was given one of your coffee and walnut cakes a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious! So often gluten free cakes are very sweet but yours was not. This order is a result of my enjoying your cake so much. My father and husband both had a piece and declared it “very good” – they do not need to eat g/f so this was high praise indeed – particularly in the case of my father who is a real cake connoisseur.

My husband was delighted with his sample box containing cheese scones, meat pies, pork pie and coffee and walnut muffin. He has pronounced the selection wonderful and been delighted that he has had pork pie after 12 years of enforced abstinence. The cheese scones are light, fluffy and tasty and “I’m sorry, but much better than yours”!!

I just had to let you know about an order I recently made with you.It was delivered on time, exactly as the courier specified. Everything was still frozen and well packed.My husband and I had our first pies this evening. I had the chestnut mushroom and my husband had the steak and ale. Both really tasty and my husband said that it’s the best steak and ale pie he’s ever had. He’s 65 so he’s had a few!!!Really pleased with everything and I just wanted to say thank you.

Just a brief word to say the cake arrived safely on Thursday last and the excellent packing ensured that it was not damaged in any way. It was enjoyed by all at our gathering on Sunday and you were right, – it didn’t taste any different from an ordinary cake which made our two gluten-sensitive family, very impressed. I tried 2 of your gluten free products the egg custard and Bakewell tarts. They were both amazing they tasted like normal ones used to the crust was a delight to eat not too hard and I’ve not eaten an egg custard in 10 years.
