Sue’s Gluten Free Kitchen Story

The creative home for chef Sue Fleming and her business partner/husband David Fleming, Sue’s Free From Kitchen, started life in the village of Aysgarth in North Yorkshire.

Aware of the challenges faced by people with coeliac disease when sourcing good quality food that is free from gluten, Sue began to experiment with a series of recipes. The range of dishes created by Sue set a high standard for taste, appearance, texture and shelf life.

This innovation has continued and been recognised by a flurry of national awards for her ‘free from’ cakes, puddings and savoury pies.

Since starting out in 2005, Sue’s Gluten Free Kitchen has grown rapidly. The business is still very much Yorkshire based but has moved to Leyburn with larger production facilities and a retail outlet.

The ‘free from’ ethos opens up this delicious range of foods to those wishing to remove gluten, wheat, dairy and egg and soya from their diet, whilst not compromising on flavour.

Products can now be sourced throughout the UK, with a selection of products in a number of Waitrose Stores, Morrisons Stores, online at Ocado, as well as independent outlets throughout the UK. Not forgetting our online shop delivering straight to your door.
